Whether the preferred method be Sealed bid or electronic iPad bidding we deliver the exact requirements of our clients to achieve their goals. OUR service


Pre-event
  • Your dedicated account manager will meet with you to discuss the specifics of your event and your fun d-raising target.
  • After through consultation, we propose tailor made unique fund-raising strategy for your event with different methods including Silent Auction, Live Auction, Pledge, Fund-raising games, using seal bidding or electronic bidding.
  • With the items approved by you, we create and print high quality auction forms for your event. You can design your own front cover and feature a charity advert or message within the forms to promote your cause.
  • We can help you with your running order for your event, as well as dis- cussing potential MC’s and Auctioneers and securing sponsorships.
The Event
  • Before guests arrive, your account manager and experienced fund-raising team will set up the auction items in a unique display.
  • As guests arrive, our dynamic and charming team greets and informs them about the silent auction and how to bid. We can be as discreet or as up front as you wish.
  • Your account manager will work closely with the MC to best promote and explain the auction so that all guests are clear on the process whether it will be electronic bidding or sealed bidding.
  • We unobtrusively take the auctions items to your guests during your event so they may take a closer look and we can answer any questions. This encourages bidding.
  • All bids over the reserve generate funds for the charity.
  • After guests bid, either via their bidding form or, if you have chosen, electronic devices, we collate the information and establish the winners.
  • Once the auction is closed we inform the winning bidders that they have won; we collect payment and have their item ready for them to take home.
  • We also help coordinate all other aspect of fund-raising, as well as collecting payments on the night.
  • At the end of the event your ac- count manager will inform you of the approximate total raised for the charity.
Post-event
  • After the event we provide a breakdown of all monies raised within two business days, which includes bidders’ contact details should you wish to contact them directly.
  • We aim to deliver all outstanding items to your guests within 15 working days.
  • Our accounts team chases payment on your behalf from the bidders who did not wish to pay on the night.
  • After the event we email vouchers for all experiences directly to your guests.
  • We offer post event customer care to your guests if they have any issues with their items.

AUCTION method

Silent Auction:

Depending on the chosen Silent Auction bidding technique, guest can bid on Silent Auction booklet discreetly or bid competitively and publically with smart card plus devices, or cell phones. We put together a booklet with all the items listed at no charge to the charity. The seal bid system minimizes the distraction during the event because guests can easily bid on the booklet instead of the regular top-up ‘clipboard and pen’ method which requires multiple trips. The electronic bidding system encourage bids and guests are able to bid in a fun competitive environment.

FR events ensure that your charity gets the maximum benefit with minimum effort.



Live Auction:

Our live auction service is second to none thanks to our superb auctioneers who keep the energy in the room buzzing all night! This is a traditional auction format with an auctioneer encouraging bidders to compete against each other to bump up the price in increments. Live auctions can be a great way to raise even more money for your charity.


Auctioneer / MC

The value of an experienced and passionate auctioneer cannot be underestimated. Choosing the right auctioneer is key to your events success and we would be happy to make recommendations. During our years of experience a vast select few have stood out from the pack, notable for their wit, charisma and determination to ignite the room for the good of the cause. If you will be supplying your own MC or auctioneer your account manager will ensure that they are fully briefed on our procedures.

Andrew Work has been providing insight, excitement and entertainment as an MC and auctioneer in Hong Kong, Canada and across Asia for over a decade. Mr. Work was MC and auctioneer for literally hundreds of small and large business and charity events raising millions of dollars including inaugural Manchester United Charity Fundraising Gala in Asia, Standard Chartered’s Earth Resources Conference, The Jockey Club Sarah Roe School Annual Fundraiser & Fashion Show, The Police Club Annual Boxer Smoker at Hong Kong Disneyland and many more.

Meet our Event Girls!

Our international team with English, German, French, Russian, Chinese, Polish speaking girls has a deep understanding in running events and are educated and passionate about charities. Our diverse event team are fully trained to promote the auction and increase fundraising at your charity event. From presenting items, to interacting & encouraging your guests, to collecting bids & payment. Our team will take care of every aspects of fundraising.


Pledges:

The most direct, yet effective way of fundraising is pledging. FR can design and print pledge cards or pledge envelopes for you. Power Pledge could be a fun activity to be included in the event rundown which guests can pledge electronically and names will be shown on screen and be recognized by MC. We handle the logistic of distributing pledge cards, collecting payments and post event follow-up on outstanding pledges. FR is proud to deliver this free fund-raising service!


Electronic Bidding:

Electronic pledging and bidding encourages more interaction and competition which creates more excitement for you and your guests. Client will be able to choose mobile bidding or bidding via smartcard with world class IML bidding devices. Either way, it allows your guest to bid at their own convenience publically to bring competitiveness and excitement into the room.
